Swiss Baeckerei and Killiney Kopitiam

Boy suggested we have breakfast. So being 2 lazy people a place selling breakfast all day will be the ideal solution.

Ok, i decided to have an ang moh breakfast to make me feel like a tai tai. To drink english breakfast and do people watching is a luxury right? So here comes the english breakfast.

Tea wasn't served with milk. :( No creamer on the table. How come? Did the boss forget?

The name of this dish was savoury crepe. So we thought the main will be a crepe?

Was served with scrambled eggs that was moist and warm. not like artificially yellow eggs from macdonalds. The sausage was good. they didn't specify it will be served with a sausage thou. Not too salty or over spiced. but the skin was off the sausage, i think fire too big. The crepe in contrast didn't taste savoury as described by the menu, it was rather tasteless. But, the whole dish was still very much enjoyable, i guess serving was quite huge and boss wasn't stingy with eggs. Sausage was as large as the plate.

This is the rosti meal.

Even though in marche, you see the chef tossing the rosti in oil, it was still delicious. The rosti here manage to turn out crispy and good without tasting a tinge of oil. Rosti was thin and evenly cooked with the edges well done and not chao da. Salad had special dressing which was a mix of vinegarette and thousand island? Fusion is the new trend. Sausage served was succulent and had good 口感. not too hard. but the skin was slightly rubbery to cut thru. tasted quite full of spices.

Auntie note: Not a very cheap eat out. Tea was served at $3.50 per cup but you can ask for refills of hot water, so save the tea bags. Parking wise i think no need to pay, you can look out from the shop.

Being people with huge appetites, we headed to Siglap and continued our breakfast fix.

Killiney coffee shop for breakfast set.

Had french toast which was rather disappointing. Because it was quite tasteless, not sweet and no taste of eggs. Kaya served was ok, jus sweet.

And of course we had our half boiled eggs. best thing on earth. Expensive thou. if i'm not wrong $1.60 for 2.

Auntie note: A cheaper place to have tea as compared to the nearby cafe.
